PAYMENT
After filling out the registration form, the athlete will receive an email after 3 business days with instructions and a payment link based on selected categories.
Keep a digital copy of the transaction such as a screenshot or a reference number.

PHP 500 per lifter regardless of number of categories joined
REFEREES
There is a PAP rule that is consistent with IPF rules: Teams that do not have a referee in a competition will only have their top 3 lifters counted in team award computations for every category.

Please submit your Nominations & Whereabouts forms through the Online Nomination Form on or before the initial nomination deadline.
Please note that only the names in the Initial Nominations can be entered in the FINAL NOMINATIONS, and no additional entries will be accepted. Any questions can be addressed to the Competition Directors.
IPF rules institute a “no weight category change after the Final Nominations and will be strictly enforced in this competition. The lifter may choose to compete as a guest lifter with a 500 PHP penalty fee, but will not be eligible to win any medals or break records.
Walk-in entries will NOT be accepted.
An entry is considered “nominated” if submitted on or before the specified deadline.
Participants will receive a confirmation email that includes their payment confirmation, team, categories, and weight class, as well as any additional requirements necessary for competition.
The organizer reserves the right to refuse late entries.
PARTICIPATION FEES (PER CATEGORY)
WEIGHT CLASSES
In the Open & Master divisions, there will be 8 weight classes for men (59, 66, 74, 83, 93, 105, 120, & 120+ kg) & 8 weight classes for women (47, 52, 57, 63, 69, 76, 84, 84+ kg).
In the Junior, Sub-Junior & Novice divisions, there will be 9 weight classes for men (53, 59, 66, 74, 83, 93, 105, 120, & 120+ kg) & 9 weight classes for women (43, 47, 52, 57, 63, 69, 76, 84, 84+ kg).
CATEGORIES
A lifter may choose to join 1 category. Alternatively, he/she may also sign up for more categories (if he/she qualifies based on the requirements). Below is the summary of categorical requirements:
AWARDS
- Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals will be awarded to the top 3 lifters from each weight class per category
- Best Lifter medals will be awarded to 1 male & 1 female from each category
- Additional prizes for participants will be announced via the social media channels of Equinox Athlete Management
TECHNICAL RULES

ATTIRE
The organizers will enforce an Equipment/Costume Check before Weigh-Ins as specified by the IPF Rulebook:
- Lifters will be required to wear a competition singlet, which is the bare minimum for anyone competing. Developmental lifters are exempt from the singlet suit rule
- T-shirts/singlets may not have any prominent prints except for the team & lifter names. IPF-approved logos are acceptable. “Sponsor’s Logos”, may be worn only on t-shirts, shoes, or socks, where the logo or emblem is printed or embroidered and is no more than 5 cm x 2 cm in size. If the sponsor logo exceeds the specified size in the IPF rulebook, the shirt will be inspected by the Technical Committee, which will have the final decision to allow it for use.
- Those who have not been part of the Philippine team at any time from 2015 to the present will be allowed to use PAP-accredited wrist wraps, belts, and singlets. You may refer to PAP’s pinned post on Facebook for the calendar & PAP-accredited brands.
- 2015-current Philippine Team members are required to use only IPF-approved attire/brands.
DRUG TESTING
Drug testing may be conducted. By joining this event, lifters agree to drug testing if selected. Evading or refusing to be tested is equivalent to a positive drug test result. Any person currently serving a drug-related suspension in ANY sport is automatically prohibited from joining PAP events.
The test may be done out-of-competition (before or after the competition) or on competition days. All lifters MUST be ready to stay for the test if selected on competition day; otherwise he/she will be considered evading a test.
Penalties for Positive Drug Test Results:
- 1st offense – Up to 4 years suspension, P50,000 fine, plus the return of trophies/medals
- 2nd offense – Lifetime suspension, P50,000 fin,e plus the return of trophies/medals
PAP will implement an IPF rule that states that a positive test result will penalize the lifter by losing all records since the current weight classes were implemented.
Unless the fine is paid, the nominated teammates of a lifter who fails a doping test will be prohibited from participating in PAP events until the fine is paid.
